REL3795
Spring 2017
T 3:30pm - 5:00pm
Permission Not Required
No Limit to Enrollment
Course Description:

In this colloquium, we will read and reflect on selections of Luther’s writings on Christian spiritual life, as well as a few later sources. We will use approaches drawn from contemporary spiritual direction and adult catechesis as a means to explore our ministerial formation in relation to these sources. The goals: we will be able to draw deeply and consciously on the roots of our faith tradition as a resource in spiritual care of our own lives and those whom we serve. We will develop skills in adult spiritual formation.
