Course Description: 

Rekindling a Prophetic Moral Vision for Justice is the focus for the Rev. Dr. William Barber’s work of leadership within church and society. The founder of the Moral Monday Movement and President of the North Carolina NAACP will teach this class as a workshop in social change, lifting up case studies from his work during the last four years across the country. One credit.

Enrollment limited to 50.

Course Requirements: 

Three books will be assigned for the course, and must be read before the February 3 class.

Students will commit to full attendance during this two day intensive class.

A 10 page reflection paper will be due on Saturday, February 18, 2017.

Basis of Evaluation: 

Credit for the class will be given for the successful completion of an acceptable paper.
