Ecumenism at YDS

Ecumenism is a vital and thriving part of Yale Divinity School. As an interfaith, nondenominational divinity school, we work hard to maintain a religiously diverse student body.  Our faculty and students represent over 40 religious denominations, and we offer a theological education that is respectful to the various traditions and experiences each person brings to the table.  We also offer polity classes for those students preparing for ministry in a particular denomination,  and denominational student groups that are open to all.

From worship services, to courses in church polity, to dinners and other social events, to guidance in ordination and vocational discernment, students have many opportunities to engage activities focused on specific faith traditions.
