BE GIANT! An axiomatic adage reminds us that “we all stand on the shoulders of giants.” Giants in our families have made sacrifices for us to see new horizons of success. Giants in our community have selflessly blazed paths for us to travel faster and further. And here at Yale, we have a family and community of alumni giants who have created a legacy worth emulating and taking to the next level. They have done so through their campus involvement while students, through their unparalleled leadership in various fields of human endeavor, and through their advancement of a blueprint of philanthropy.
Inspired by their paradigmatic example, we invite you to BE GIANT! It is not enough for you to just stand on their shoulders. We invite you to be the shoulders on which someone else can stand. We invite you to BE GIANT! by contributing any amount to the 2016 Class Fund, so that another generation of students can experience that which has made this place so special for you. Contributing to the Class Fund is the work of a GIANT!, because 100% of all of the funds raised go to providing scholarships for incoming students. 80% of YDS students receive some sort of financial aid; therefore, GIANTS have yielded their shoulders to many of us. It is our turn to return the favor. Will you BE GIANT!?
