Clyde C. Tuggle ’88 M.Div.

Clyde C. Tuggle is Co-Founder and Partner of Pine Island Capital Partners, a Washington DC-based private equity investment firm.  Until 2018, he spent more than 30 years with The Coca-Cola Company, retiring as senior vice president, chief public affairs and communications officer for the company.  Tuggle holds a bachelor’s degree in German studies and economics from Hamilton College and studied at the Ludwig-Maximillian Universität in Munich, Germany, and attended the University of Virginia’s Darden Business School.  He is former chairman of the Board of Trustees of Agnes Scott College and a trustee of the Georgia Research Alliance. Tuggle serves on the Boards of Directors of The Partnership to End Addiction, the US-Russia Business Council, and the World Affairs Council of Atlanta. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, the Goizueta Business School Advisory Board and the Yale University International Advisory Board. He has two children, Helen, Yale ‘17, and Paden.  He and his wife, Mary Streett, reside in Washington, DC.
