Yale Divinity School presents the first of the Pennington Lecture Series honoring the memory and legacy of James Pennington.

John Witte, Jr. is an award-winning teacher, distinguished scholar, and long-serving director of the Center for the Study of Law and Religion (CSLR), Emory University School of Law. He is also editor of the Cambridge Law and Christianity Series, The Journal of Law and Religion, and Emory University Studies in Law and Religion.
