Chuck Wildman M.Div.

After "retiring" from twenty years as senior minister of Rock Spring Congregational UCC, Arlington, VA, I flunked retirement and accepted a three-year post as Interim Conference Minister for the Connecticut Conference of the United Church of Christ.  Completing that post this past June, I moved back home (Cape Cod) and began the effort to "retire."  So far, I have not been too successful as I have found various denominational and civic involvements to keep me challenged. Occasional preaching in our own congregation and others keeps me thinking theologically. As a trustee of Chicago Theological Seminary, I get to Chicago- my home town- several times a year, often stay with with Phil Blackwell.  Anne and I recently enjoyed a Viking River Cruise in Europe and liked it so much, we plan another next year.  Both of our children are in Boston so we have the joy of seeing them often and occasionally babysitting our grandson.  Plays, concerts, good films and more educate and entertain us, as the Cape is a veritable playground for the arts.  We enjoy our home and frequently entertain friends from various settings of our lives.  When we yearn for the water, we climb aboard our modest fishing boat and ply nearby waterways and Nantucket Sound.  Hope to get to the next Convocation and to see classmates.  How about a YDS '70 dinner this time?
