Dennis A. Meyer M.Div.

Earlier than anticipated, I retired as Sr. Pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Atlantic, IA. on June 30, 2013. Wife (Pr. Sally Meyer - MDiv., LSTC, 1994) and I have relocated to the NW Chicago suburbs, Grayslake, specifically. We are involved in many ways at a local congregation, helping with Confirmation Classes (which include our 7th Grade granddaughter), singing in the Choir (directed by the same musician we worked with at Medill Ave. Lutheran in Chicago from 1980-1986 - he is extremely gifted), trying to help re-envigorate their Sr. High Youth Ministry, and serving elsewhere as we can. We continue to be involved with the Society of the Holy Trinity, a Lutheran Ministerium which is a most appreciated source for us of mutual conversation and consolation. We enjoy travelling and try to take in the annual Theological Conference sponsored by Lutheran CORE and the North American Lutheran Church, scheduled this July in Charleston, S.C. And we eagerly await the monthly arrival of the "Forum Letter," edited masterfully by our classmate, Richard Johnson.
