A reading and talk by Kevin Young, New Yorker poetry editor, from his latest book NIGHT WATCH as well as A Century of Poems in the New Yorker: 1925-2025, focusing on poems of praise.
This event, which is free and open to the public, will be held in Harkness Hall's Sudler Recital Hall at 100 Wall Street, New Haven, CT. It will also be livestreamed.
The talk is part of the Lana Schwebel Memorial Lecture series and the Literature and Spirituality series. The Schwebel Lecture was established in 2008 in memory of former faculty member Lana Schwebel, who died suddenly and tragically in July 2007.
