Paul H. Harris M.Div.
Life flows much as before, but retirement in a year and a half is beginning to loom. I greatly enjoy the combination of teaching, preaching, social justice ministry and the usual range of pastoral duties I am engaged in here, but more and more of my time in the US is absorbed by my African commitments. I leave for Tanzania April 9 and more than half of my head and heart are already there. I'm bewildered by how much has gone well in the last year and thank God for a flourishing radio station (400,000 listeners), microfinance banks (now 38 village banks) and university (4000 students). All exceed anything I could have imagined or prayed for. On the other side of the ledger are Sally's hip joint replacement and chronic mycobacterial lung infection and the uninvited arthritis that has moved into stay. Come visit us in Minnesota or Tanzania!
