RON HOOKER preached at Bethany Memorial Church (Disciples of Christ) in Bethany, WV, where classmate SCOTT THAYER serves as pastor and chaplain at Bethany College, to open the 2011-12 academic year. He also talked to religion majors at the college who are interested in continuing their education at the seminary level. Hooker’s favorable review of the book The Shack, by William Young, was printed in the book and generated extensive communication with YDS classmates.
