Rochelle A. Stackhouse

Born the same year as the UCC, Rochelle Stackhouse was ordained in 1982 and has served 4 churches in the UCC as settled pastor (Michigan, New York, Massachusetts and Connecticut) and 4 as interim (NJ and PA). Following her PhD in Liturgical Studies from Drew, she has taught as adjunct at Lancaster Seminary, Hartford Seminary and Moravian Seminary in areas of preaching and worship.Currently she serves as Pastor of the Church of the Redeemer in New Haven. A freelance writer, she has published numerous articles and book chapters and one book, The Language of the Psalms in Worship: American Revisions of Watts' Psalter (Scarecrow Press, 1997). She is married to Dr. P. Gavin Ferriby, an academic librarian, and they are the parents of three children.
