James P. Keane, ’91 M.Div.


James P. Keane, MDiv, MEd, PhD., is Principal of St Joseph High School in Trumbull, CT, the largest Catholic, co-ed school in the state, and was recently elected to the Yale Divinity School Alumni Board. Holding a 1991 MDiv from Yale Divinity School, Keane is an academic systematic theologian specializing in post-conciliar theology and ethics. His doctoral dissertation from Marquette University in 2000, centered on explaining Gustavo Gutiérrez’s notion of “solidarity” through the writings of Karl Rahner, S.J. Keane is also a seasoned school administrator with over twenty-five years of school teaching and management experience. Since 2006, he has been heavily involved in building international student programs in Catholic schools throughout the United States. He is also the co-founder of Campus Bridge International and a partner in the Wuxi-Boston International Education Investment Company
