Wilma Reichard received a B.A. at St. Andrews College (now University) and an M.A.R. and M.Div. from Yale Divinity School. She served for 23 years at both Stanford Hospital and Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital as Director of Clinical Pastoral Education and staff chaplain. She retired from her work at Stanford Medical Center on Valentine’s Day 2013. However, she “flunked” retirement and came back as a CPE supervisor for one unit last fall at UCSF Medical Center. Currently, she is still “flunking” by working as the Bereavement Care Coordinator at a Continuing Care Retirement Community in Palo Alto.
