Harold E. Masback ’94 M.Div.

Masback has served as senior minister of the Congregational Church of New Canaan, CT since February 2001.  He is executive director of the Yale Center for Faith and Culture headed by Miroslav Volf. Prior to beginning his ministry, he was a founding partner of Ross, Dixon and Masback, currently a 65-attorney, 130-employee law firm with offices in Washington, D.C., San Diego, Orange County, and Chicago. While practicing law, he served as assistant general counsel for the Democratic National Committee from 1976-1983, helped start the National Endowment for Democracy in 1983, and helped to start and served as general counsel on the Commission for Presidential Debates.
