Event description: 

Kelly Brown Douglas, Dean of Episcopal Divinity School at Union Theological Seminary and Professor of Theology at the Seminary, will deliver the annual Parks-King Lecture at Yale Divinity School on Tuesday, February 4.
Titled “A Legacy of Slavery,” the presentation will reflect on the lecture series’ two namesakes—Martin Luther King and Rosa Parks—while exploring, in the speaker’s words, “who we have been and who are we called to be as people of faith navigating the 401-year legacy of chattel slavery in this country.”
The event will take place at 5:30 p.m. in Niebuhr Hall, with a reception to follow.
