Thanks to the efforts of Bishop Caggiano’s office in the Diocese of Bridgeport, James Keane ‘91 M.Div. and his family were able to attend a special audience with Pope Francis at the Vatican. “It was an extraordinary opportunity for me, my wife, Eileen, and our three children,” said Keane, Principal of St. Joseph High School in Trumbull, Ct., and holder of a Ph.D. from Marquette University in post-conciliar Roman Catholic Theology. “It was such an honor to be in the same room with the person whose words and actions–especially towards the poor and most vulnerable–have made him the moral authority of the world.”
