Nancy and I are enjoying our retirement. We decided to enter this new phase of our life last year. We live in the midst of a fifty acre wood surrounded by deer, bear, coyotes and turkeys. We have carved miles of hiking trails we walk every day. We enjoy our church with its charming name, The Summerhill United Church of Christ, less than two miles from the Appalachian Trail. I enjoyed being a parish pastor for over forty years; now I enjoy being a member. Our two children now have babes of their own, and it is always a pleasure to be with them.
