Norman Wirzba, MAR ‘88

I am pleased to report that beginning January 1, 2024 I will begin a new role as Director of Research for Duke University’s Office of Climate and Sustainability. In this role I will work to catalyze the interdisciplinary research we will need to understand and address the many dimensions of climate change. Years of teaching and research have taught me that the best work happens when people from diverse backgrounds with different skill sets come together in a sustained and open way.
