Gini and I reside in Macon, GA, our home town. We returned home in 1994, when I retired from 30 years in the Army, 24 as a chaplain. Then came 13 years in United Methodist appointments in the Macon area plus 4 years part time on our bishop's staff. Gini continues a 40+ year career teaching English for Speakers of Other Languages, a skill honed during our military years. We both teach and volunteer in other ministries of our local church and area ministries. I serve in Kairos Prison Ministry, play banjo and mandolin in various groups, and enjoy woodworking and maintenance of rental houses next door. We keep in touch with our two children. Christy and husband Tony, with two daughters 18 and 13, live in Auburn, AL. Christy is a speech pathologist. Tony heads the high school ROTC program. Our son Mark, is a high school choral director in Atlanta, Ga. He and wife Elizabeth, violinist and strings teacher, have two children, 10 and 11.
