I am currently an associate professor at the DePaul University School of Cinematic Arts where I teach screenwriting. I have been a screenwriter since 1987 when I broke into the business and have written more than thirty film and TV projects in Hollywood including the movies K-9, Alaska, and Trojan War. In 2022, Palgrave Macmillan published my book “The Protagonist’s Journey: An Introduction to Character-Driven Screenwriting and Storytelling,” an Amazon Best Seller in the category of Film and Television.
