THIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT!
In her aspect as the Star of the Sea, the Blessed Virgin Mary is the divine mother with a crown of stars, writ large across the heavens. Celebrate the divine feminine, the night sky, and the history of the cosmos while looking at the sky through telescopes (weather permitting) or under the dome of the planetarium. Chora Women’s Vocal Ensemble will weave together medieval, contemporary, and new music with the story of the universe as propagated by Thomas Berry and Brian Swimme, and interpreted by feminist theologian Glenys Livingstone.
“Lay back on a starry night. Feel as big and as small as you are.” - Carly Simon
