This year’s annual alumni meeting will take place during Convocation and Reunions, on Thursday, Oct. 23, at 3:15 p.m. in Marquand Chapel. Items to be voted on include the election of new board officers and four new members.
Nominated to serve as officers of the board:
- President— Kristin Foster ’77 M.Div., Pastor of Messiah Lutheran Church in Mountain Iron, Minnesota
- Vice President—Richard Spalding ’76 B.A., ’81 M.Div., Chaplain to the College, Williams College
- Secretary— Danielle Tumminio ’03 B.A., ’06 M.Div., ’08 S.T.M., author, life & professional coach, lecturer at Yale University, and priest associate at Christ Church in Quincy, Massachusetts.
Nominated to serve as new members of the board:
- Neal Christie ’90 M.Div., Assistant General Secretary of the United Methodist Board of Church and Society for Education and Leadership Formation
- Kaji Spellman Dousa ’06 M.Div., Senior Minister to United Church of Christ La Mesa in California.
- Jason Craig Harris ’12 M.A.R., a writing instructor at Friends Seminary (NYC), where he assists students in developing the craft of written expression, critical thinking, and ethical formation.
- Nancy Jo Kemper ’67 B.D., former Executive Director of the Kentucky Council of Churches, who has served seven faith communities during her 40-plus years of ministry.
