Christiana Purdy Moudarres ‘12 M.A.R., assistant professor and director of undergraduate studies in Italian language and literature at Yale, is one of five junior faculty members at the university to be recognized for distinguished interdisciplinary teaching. Moudarres and the others were honored by Yale College Dean Jonathan Holloway at a dinner Dec. 10.

Brooks Holifield ’63 B.D., professor of American church history at Emory University, is one of three exceptional church and community leaders chosen by Hendrix College for the 2016 Steel-Hendrix Award. Holifield will receive the award in March.
