  • Beecher Lectures with Alyce McKenzie, who will present on the theme of “Making a Scene in the Pulpit: Vivid Sermons for Visual Listeners”;
  • Martha Serpas ‘94 M.Div., renowned poet and professor of English, University of Houston;
  • Shaun Casey, Special Representative for Religion and Global Affairs in the U.S. State Department, who will speak about “The Role of Religion in U.S. Diplomacy”;
  • Worship in Marquand Chapel with Presiding Bishop-Elect The Rt. Rev. Michael B. Curry ‘78 M.Div. preaching; and a sung morning worship service;
