Dean Sterling on President Levin’s Decision to Step Down

Statement by YDS Dean Greg Sterling on Yale President Richard Levin’s announcement that he will step down at the end of the 2012-13 academic year: “Rick Levin has been a visionary and effective president who has worked indefatigably for Yale University. He has also been a faithful friend to Yale Divinity School during his 19 years in office, and the YDS community is deeply grateful for his steadfast support. In large measure, the School’s current health and vibrancy can be attributed to the support President Levin has shown over the years. His leadership will be missed.”
