Steve Montgomery ’78 M.Div. is retiring as pastor of Idlewild Presbyterian Church in Memphis. At his final service as pastor, his congregation surprised him with the singing of a new hymn composed by YDS Professor Emeritus Thomas Troeger.

Three YDS students traveled to Oxford with Michal Beth Dinkler, Associate Professor of New Testament, earlier this semester to present their research at an Oxford-Yale Graduate Conference on “Ethical Reading: Exemplarity.”
