Bob and I celebrated 50 years of marriage and partnership last year (the attached picture was taken on our anniversary).  We had some great times celebrating with friends and family and reminiscing about all of those years. It's amazing how fast time goes when you are looking back.  We are thankful for each moment and for every moment we have in the future.

Retirement has been great.  We've had time with grandchildren who bring such joy and delight and new perspectives. Since retiring we've traveled to Peru, Ecuador, Galapagos, Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, Montreal, Hawaii and Mexico, and are off to Morocco in April, 2015.  We find we learn so much from these trips and sharing in new cultures.

We continue to be active in social justice issues, such as working to get the Maryland Marriage Equality law passed. It is exciting how many states are passing these laws.

As the years go by, old friends become even more treasured.  So, if you are coming to the Washington, D.C. area, please let us know and we can spend some time catching up and sharing precious memories.
