Andrew Sorenson,

Class of
1962

Andrew Sorensen stepped down as president of the University of South Carolina in 2008.  His successor launched a second medical school and asked him to organize it. Andrew writes, “My first 13 years as a professor were in a medical school: in what Sinatra calls the autumn of our years, I have come full circle. I enjoy returning to YDS for the annual Margaret Lindquist Sorensen Lecture, and keeping in touch with my brother-in-law, David Koehler.”
