Ann Akers,

Ann Akers has been appointed Director of the Hebrew Union College/Jewish Institute of Religion Interfaith Clinical Education for Pastoral Ministry Doctor of Ministry program in New York City. The Interfaith program trains clergy of all faiths in clinical issues and skills for use in congregations and chaplaincies. She continues full-time private practice in Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Port Jervis, New York as psychoanalyst and pastoral counselor. Her son, Nathaniel, attends college in Brooklyn.
