Annemarie (Chapin) Smith , MAR

Scott (MAR Class of ‘86) and I met at YDS and were married in 1987. After Scott finished medical school and residency, we settled in Waco, Texas, where he practiced ophthalmology and I homeschooled our five children. Noah (28) owns a custom ironworks business, is married to Shoshanah, and they have a son,Kyle (2), with a baby girl due in June. Aaron (26) graduated from Baylor University and is a pilot for American Airlines. Sam (24) graduated from Austin College and is currently interning in New Zealand and Australia. Grace (21) is a nursing student at Villanova University. Mark (18) is a freshman at the College of William & Mary. Scott still practices full-time, and I just (this week!) started a fledgling part-time tutoring business.
The Lord has richly blessed us with a happy and loving family, for which we are beyond grateful. Raising them has been our highest calling, and now becoming their friends and watching them take off on their own God-given courses has become the source of our greatest joy.
We have several empty bedrooms now! So please know you are welcome to stay here if you want to check out the “new and improved” Waco for yourselves someday!
