Anne and I are celebrating one year in residence at Linden Ponds, South Shore, Boston. The move from Cape Cod was challenging but worth the effort. We downsized the stuff but upsized the friendships and quality of our lives. LP is an Erickson Living CCRC. Quickly, I was appointed a corporate director so am becoming acquainted with some twenty Erickson communities across the country. Erickson is a smartnot for profit with a unique financial model. Ask me more. Our offspring and grandson are in the Boston area so we enjoy them on a frequent basis. I still guest preach and am active in UCC activities here. This summer, we explored Alaska by land and sea, finding that three weeks were not enough to experience this fascinating part of the country.
