CRISTINA CABRERA is in her third year of her PhD program in Cultural Studies at the International Graduate Centre for the Study of Culture (GCSC), in Giessen-Germany. Among other news, she tied the knot to former exchange student at YDS, Julian Hensold, on October 2013. On the same month she was awarded the Dr. Herbert Stolzenberg Award for Hight Education Teaching from the University of Giessen, where she taught a course on Colonial Spanish American History.
