David Wertheimer, M.Div.

I am currently serving as the Director of Community & Civic Engagement at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation in Seattle. When not at work, I enjoy life with Paul Beaudet, my husband of 25 years, dividing our time between Seattle and Guemes Island, (a small island in the San Juan archipelago). I current serve as the President of the Haverford College Alumni Association and on the Board of Directors of Partners for Our Children. As a diversion from the intensities of work, I feed my interest in antiquarian books as Editor of the Journal of the Book Club of Washington, an obscure publication for book collectors in the Pacific Northwest.
