Class of

Denomination:
Presbyterian, USA

After graduating from YDS, I went to the University of Pittsburgh Library School and received my Master of Library Science in 1969. I served at Hartford Seminary and then 30 years as Assistant Librarian at Emory University’s Pitts Theology Library. After retiring from Emory, I served at Yu-Shan Theological Seminary in Taiwan for 12 years. I retired again in 2013, having served 44 years in theological libraries.

In Taiwan, I organized the Taiwan Theological Seminaries Association and I built the special collections of Professor CS Song and Professor Loh Wei-ren. After Taiwan, I moved to Seattle, WA and I am serving as moderator of the Seattle Taiwanese Christian Church (UCC).

I am married to my wife of 51 years, Mei. We have two sons, Freddy and Stephen. Freddy is a professor of family medicine at the University of Washington School of Medicine. Stephen is an attorney for the US Department of Education in Denver. We have 3 grandchildren.

I am very grateful for the theological education I received from YDS.
