On a leave of absence from Johns Hopkins Near Eastern Studies Dept. I'm working on a book, my second after The Storyteller and the Garden of Eden, this one on the Bible and American racism, tentatively titled Thy Kingdom Come. Hope I and we all live long enough to finish it.
Oh, and my daughter married last fall with fellow classmate Earl Johnson officiating.
