Erhard S. Gerstenberger,

Erhard S. Gerstenberger retired from Marburg University in 1997 and, since then, has happily taught Hebrew Bible at various universities in Germany and Brazil. He also lectured in the U.S. every year before attending the annual SBL conference. Erhard’s most recent book is Israel in der Perserzeit (Stuttgart 2005, English translation forthcoming). In November 2009 he was invited to speak at YDS and said it was “great to get back to Yale Divinity again.”
