George Taylor, M.Div.

Class of
1971
Denomination:
Congregational [not UCC]

I'm now in my 4th (main) career, working as a full-time Realtor with RE/MAX Spectrum with five offices south of Boston and on Cape Cod. My first calling was as a Congregational minister, serving churches in Michigan, Ohio and Massachusetts. While I was ordained in the United Church of Christ, my ministerial standing is now the Conservative Congregational Christian Conference. Since my wife Vi have lived in the beautiful town of Marion on the south coast of Massachusetts since 1984, we've decided to continue living here as long as we can. Two of our children (Alison and Andy) live with their families in northern California. Our son Jeff lives in Dartmouth, MA--close to us--and we enjoy our frequent visits with him and his son Tommy (age 7). Since leaving pastoral ministry, I've been sole proprietor of Sandwich Books on Cape Cod; Director of Public Affairs with Christian Union (a leadership development ministry working primarily in The Ivy League); and in real estate (now in my seventh year). I continue to seek open doors for serving the Lord and would be happy to hear from any classmates in the area.
