My wife, Sally, and I moved to Nashville, TN in 2015 where we now live in a 3-gen family with our daughter, Betsy, and her husband, our two grandchildren, three cats, and a German Shepherd the size of a small truck. Having retired in 2018, I am engaged in an encore career of writing and speaking around the country for various business, civic, and religious organizations. I use the language and culture of baseball to strike out the toxic shame encountered in everyday life - consider booking me for your next event! I've published my second book, "Swing for the Fences: Show up. Dig in. Suck less." that won an IPPY (Independent Publisher's) Silver Medal. It's available in hardcover, e-book, and audio. I invite readers to follow me on various social media outlets as well as my YouTube channel where I produce a bi-weekly broadcast on "Overcoming Shame." My website is really exciting and I invite you there, as well: www.ggregorybancroft.com. Meanwhile, Peter, whom you know from YDS days, is in Boston with his wife and son. We are all doing well and are blessed with good health, interesting friends, and always some new adventure. Call and visit when you're in the area. We'd love to see you!
