Heather has been called to be the next settled minister at Wright Congregational Church, UCC. She began her new ministry on October 1, 2022. The church is set in Boise, Idaho and has many recently retired people who have moved here to help with the raising of their grandchildren.

 

Heather was chosen for her direct leadership style, her ability to create community partnerships, and her inspirational written and spoken messages. She specializes in bringing joy into worship. It is Heather’s belief that a church that both celebrates its love of Jesus and welcomes full participation for all people (including LGBTQ+) has an important mission in the city.

 

Heather served eleven years at North Long Beach Christian Church (DOC), a highly entrepreneurial ministry, where Heather created partnerships with DCFS, Community Basketball, Assurance Learning Academy (aimed at non-traditional students), Preschool without Walls, and other organization. She left the church with assets, partnerships, and a sustainable income to lead them into the future.
