Patti and I were able to make it back to New Haven for the 55th Reunion of our Class of '62. Excellent thought provided by Alan Boesak giving the Beecher Lectures. Music, worship, meals, and fellowship equally good. We were regularly at table with Archie and Kate Huff, Bruce Rigdon, and Don Swearer. Most wonderfully, we got to see Harry Adams! I had conversation with Miroslav Volf about his coming to Colorado Springs May 5 and 6, when he will lecture and preach at First Congregational UCC. That weekend begins with a YDS alums luncheon. Join us if you can.
More personally, I can report that, in spite of a stroke and macular degeneration, I continue to fly-fish and am assembling a new book, Fishing Further Out: The Arctic Circle to Tasmania. It’s a struggle, to be sure.
