Hello!

Hope you all are well. Seems like A long time ago that I was at YDS ... because it was. After working as a seminarian while at YDS turns out I never moved closer to ministry. While visiting Tuck Bowerfind in Cleveland after graduation, I tried on his clerical collar while he was out, and it just didn’t feel right. I have no regrets about the path I took; turns out I had to get a J.O.B. And that’s what I did ... teaching. It was a good choice and it certainly is a ministry of sorts. I teach Latin which oddly enough has me doing a very similar thing looking at texts and connecting with old stuff. My latest read with students is the Matrona Ephesi story by Petronius, worth a read.
