Jim Bortell, M. Div.

I retired as a United Methodist minister in Central Il. and then served part time a Mennonite USA church for ten years. I conceive my last ministry is environmentally centered. I am a certified Master Naturalist though the U. of Ill., teach environmental ethics, and write a weekly column. My wife Roberta (52 years) and I have two sons and four grandchildren.

I remember YDS years as marvelous years--friends, teachers, refectory fellowship, the university setting, and the New England setting. These years have shaped my life, faith, and ministry in countless ways. My gratitude runneth over.
