I have celebrated the 10th anniversary of my ordination with the church I was ordained to serve back then: First Church in Marlborough (Congregational) UCC. My book and labor of love for eight years “Calvinism in the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth 1548-1648. The Churches and the Faithful” which was published with Brill in 2020 is receiving good reviews. This makes me happy to know that someone actually read it. My “light” book on the Gilded Age in the US was published in Poland (in Polish) - and seems to be read too. So, despite a pandemic year, being separated from my family in Europe for 16 months - all in all, God is good. Also, Im happy to report that my congregation is still alive and well despite all my liturgical experiments and Barthian theology.
