I am currently in Japan serving as the Command Chaplain for the USS WASP LHD-1. Our ship was the first Navy vessel to aid the people of the Virgin Islands, Dominica, and Puerto Rico in humanitarian disaster relief in the 3 hurricanes that hit the island in 2017.
