Hello Friends!
My life is filled with active ministry and active academic study as I finish up the STM Degree at YDS in 2020; I am working with the Jonathan Edwards Center at Yale and this degree and effort is fun! I also continue as President of the Morning Star Community, NFP, Inc., in Moline Illinois, - a low- income senior residential community created by seven local Disciples of Christ churches in cooperation with United Church Homes of the United Church of Christ.

With the passing of my wife, Joane, in September, 2018 (33 loving years together), - and then after successful Open Heart Surgery at Northwestern Memorial Medical Center, Chicago to replace my aorta valve in January, 2019 - I find myself in transition, and in a time of emotional and physical recovery. Most recently I have served as Senior Minister at the St. John's UCC of Mokena, Illinois. After a break, I will return to active ministry following necessary Cardiac Rehabilitation and recovery.

My family and friends are close by in the Chicago metro area. Daughter Jessica and husband Dean Radcliffe live close by and have blessed me with a granddaughter, Sierra, and a grandson, Declan, who bring much joy to my life. My mother, Pat, is 96; she also lives in Evanston and enjoys my presence and love. Many friends have supported me with prayers in resent months. I will soon return to part-time ministry.

I look forward to our next class reunion.
