The Rev. Ramy Marcos has moved with his family (wife Amira, and girls Amy and Ann) to study for a Ph.D in Islamic Studies and Christian-Muslim Relations at Hartford Seminary. Ramy was ordained as pastor in the Presbyterian Church in Egypt in 2006. He served as pastor in a village church in upper Egypt for 7 years, and then in the Church's social service organization, the Coptic Evangelical Organization for Social Services (CEOSS) for 4 years. CEOSS is an Egyptian NGO with a Christian faith basis that promotes social and culture development for all segments of society. It reaches out to more than two million Egyptians annually in more than 100 rural and urban communities.
