Class of

Denomination:
Methodist, United

Although I am now formally retired from itinerant ministry in the United Methodist Church, I continue to be employed full time as Professor of Moral and Historical Theology at Seattle Pacific University in Seattle, WA. I teach a combination of undergraduate general education courses in theology, courses for undergraduate theology majors in church history and spirituality, courses in historical theology and ministry for seminarians, and a course in medical ethics for graduate nursing students. A book titled Christian Ethics and Nursing Practice, which I am co-authoring with a colleague in the SPU School of Health Sciences, is under contract with Wipf and Stock Publishers, and will be completed and submitted for publication by August, 2019. I am also continuing to work on a volume on Christian prisoners of conscience from the third through the twentieth centuries.
