I continue to serve the United Church of Santa Fe, a United Church of Christ congregation in New Mexico whose commitment over the past 30 years has been to "Love God. Love Neighbor. Love Creation." Last fall we finished our 4th building project, the addition of 3 classrooms, and also landscaping to create a reflection trail and healing garden that provide a way for the congregation and wider community to connect with Creation and the Creator. We strive to be a "Desert Faith" church, living with this land of little rain instead of just "in" the desert. I also continue to write for the UCC Daily Reflection and to work with the National Action Alliance for Suicide Prevention and advocacy for the role of faith communities in mental health and suicide prevention.

I continue to be grateful for the education and opportunities YDS offered me, and for the chance to use that experience through local church ministry. It has been and continues to be a journey that continually leads, in the words of Edward Abbey, "to something strange and more beautiful and more full of wonder than your deepest dreams waits for you -- beyond that next turning of the canyon walls.”

Blessings to all.
