Shortly after graduating in 2015, my wife and I became parents with our firstborn son's arrival at Yale-New Haven hospital. In the Fall of the same year, I took a position at Google's HQ in Mountain View, CA, running executive operations for a team in the Research & Machine Intelligence division. I've met one other YDS alum working here (at Google), who hosted Dr. Miroslav Volf for a Talks at Google event in 2017 (hearing theology in the workplace was quite refreshing!). I remain active in the ecclesiastical setting at my local LDS congregation, and have been serving in both youth, and community outreach programs. Parenting remains the primary vocation however; our second son was born Fall 2017, and our eldest son--recently diagnosed with ASD--keeps us extra engaged and gives us an even greater sense of meaning and purpose as parents.

Career-wise, I hope to re-enter higher education in the next few years, as an administrator; mentoring college students has been the most rewarding and consistent delight over the years--doing so full-time feels like both an exciting endeavor, and a calling where my vocational contributions can be maximized.

The skills and knowledge gained at YDS have been invaluable, even as a "corporate professional," and I miss having the time and space to dig deep into areas of thought that can have the greatest effect in the framing of life, death, truth, and eternity. May Lux et Veritas ever be our guide!
